it's too early for an LJ post

Except there's been this strange smell in our bedroom, that's been getting worse. It's worst when we get into bed.

at 3.45am it all got too much for mr_bassman and he turned on all the lights and started looking under the bed.

He gave up and flopped back into bed. The smell wafted up again - it smelt dead.

We turned on the main light, lifted the mattress and, lo and behold! - our cat loves us. A dead bird.

Yuk!
