I'm only a slightly disorganised schmuck, but I like that and I'm sure it works best for a lot of the other families there too.<br /><br />Rose needs to wear comfortable shoes, and take lunch.&nbsp; What do you put in a lunch box when you can't just make her a peanut butter sandwich?&nbsp; She won't normally each cheese sandwiches, and I&nbsp;refuse to send her there with honey or jam or vegemite.&nbsp;&nbsp; Chocolate spread is also banned.&nbsp; This avoidance of killing some other child who has a nut allergy is very inconvenient!<br /><br />Weirdly, you're allowed to send muesli bars with nuts in them.<br /><br />After the interview I&nbsp;decided that she really needs a bigger backpack than the one she has now.&nbsp; So we went to the &quot;variety stores&quot; on Victoria St.&nbsp; I found quite a reasonable bag in orange or red, but it appears that the only bag that Rose will be happy with will be mostly pink and have a picture of a person on it - preferably a princess.&nbsp; That's when I worked out that allowing Rose to choose her new bag wouldn't work.<br /><br />Oh well, off to play happy families and make breakfast for all my children.<br /><br /><img src="https://www.dreamwidth.org/tools/commentcount?user=mrsbrown&ditemid=246472" width="30" height="12" alt="comment count unavailable" style="vertical-align: middle;"/> comments
