What I did on my "quiet" weekend

We decided not to build a brick wall in Ballarat this weekend. It's been 4 weekends in a row that we've been out and about and away from home. It seemed the sensible thing to do.

With Sjkasabi and Assassinus' deadline fast approaching, I'm finding myself caught up in the concern about the deadline. So I dobbed in Mr-bassman and off we went to line a laundry. Yesterday we worked from 8am til 7pm and then shared a yummy roast dinner and cake at home with all my children, Sjkasabi, Assassinus, Mr-bassman and Counter Ermine.

Got up at 7.30am and did some more from 9am to 1.30pm. Not much to go, only 3 more pieces and then we can start plastering, painting, window making and outside wall waterproofing. Maybe we'll get that done next weekend :-)

While Mr-bassman went to work at Werribee Zoo; Rose, Sneetch and I headed off to the Collingwood Children's Farm (renewed our Family Pass while I was at it) [1] and then Lentil as Anything for dinner.

What do I do now? I think I may have forgotten how to sit still.

[1] Mr-bassman, I promised Rose you'd take her to milk the cow on Wednesday. She had one turn but wanted another, and we didn't want to wait through 30 kids again.
