real estate update
Nov. 23rd, 2003 12:18 pmI went and looked at the house next door yesterday. It's a bit tireder that I remember - completely liveable, but not the 'home beautiful' finish and decor. Just comfy and a bit tired.
The estate agent there said $500-550k, about $100k less than the owner said to me a couple of weeks ago.
The house across the road otoh, was passed in at $420k, with only one bidder, so I'm inclined to think the real estate agent is as nearly right as agents are. That is to say, it will sell for about $40k more than he says, or $590k. We'll see in a couple of weeks I guess.
I had a nice day yesterday, sewing wedding dress with my sister, mother and grandmother and finished the evening with a roast pork dinner. Mum knows its my favourite.
Regarding dieting/body shape angst; Oma had a set of scales and I reminded myself that I've actually lost about 5kg since christmas and I just got back from a 2 1/2 hour walk with G, we didn't get to row, unfortunately, but this sunday morning exercise addition seems like it can become a regular arrangement. It's not so bad today.
