Domestic Hero
Dec. 16th, 2003 07:27 pmWhenever I (or somebody else- mostly J) does some of that virtuous houseworky domesticity stuff. I shout, "I am/you are a Domestic Hero." Today I got to shout it twice.
This morning I panicked about the expected heat of the day (37deg C) and T's lack of appropriate clothing. I made T a pair of shorts in 30min, before 8am!!!! I AM A DOMESTIC HERO!
This evening I made dinner before 7pm... again, I am a domestic hero!
Have I mentioned it's hot? The Age says it's currently 36deg C. I thought so.
While you're there, marvel at the stupid British tourist who left his bogged car with 80 litres of water in it, and died of dehydration in the desert after walking 60km - What a moron!
