Sunday update
Jul. 18th, 2004 12:35 pmNo. 1 - Welcome my daughter T to the world of womanhood - we went and got her ears pierced this morning.
No.2 I'm not getting very much done this w/e - I spent yesterday in bed and today I'm off to showtime to stand around and tell teenagers to "ssshhhh" . Also, I've been a bit stuck here in front of the heater - it's cold!
No. 3 One of my favourtie people at work left on thursday. We talked about crying at work - she was asked by her boss not to cry at her presentation. I've been thinking about how women are messy and that doesn't fit with todays working culture. On that same theme, I've been daydreaming about having a baby, returning to work after 12 weeks and breastfeeding the baby in the lunchroom at lunchtime. Women are messy, it doesn't fit with the working culture. Maybe men's lifes are messy too, but they've learnt to hide it better. Excuse the incoherentness of that last bit - I'm off to showtime in 10 min and I need lunch first.
