Besides, I wanted to do some sewing.

First I had to clear the kitchen table so I could put my sewing machines on it.

To do that, I had to fill the dishwasher. To keep the dishwasher throughput going, it is necessary to wash the pots and pans that are at the sink. Part of my kitchen cleaning routine also includes doing two loads of washing.

While the table was clearish I made breakfast for the sick child, then morning tea for me. Then I took the sick child to the doctor.

When I got back I seized the opportunity to make bread, because that's easy to do while you're sewing. While I had the flour out, I put it into a container (it's been in it's paper packet on the shelf for months) Then it was lunchtime.

I also need to cut out the fabric. To do that I had to clear the floor in the family room and vacuum it. Of course, I had to empty the vacuum first. And then play with it to see why it wasn't sucking. And then pack it away again.

To sew, all I need to do now is finish this silly LJ entry and wipe the flour off the kitchen table so I can put my sewing machines on it.
