baby/pregnancy update
Oct. 25th, 2005 06:07 pmStill not delivered.
Went and had monitoring and an ultrasound today. The kids came too and the ultrasound confirmed that Rosie is a girl. She also has big feet. There's not a lot of amniotic fluid left, so I'm going back on Friday to do all that again.
The midwife checked out my cervix, and based on her report, I'm not looking for Rosie before the weekend. I'm certainly not trying any of the natural induction techniques before then. I'm just not "ripe"
I'm pleased to know the state of my cervix, it means I'm no longer in a permanent state of anticipation.
I'm having a lot of trouble moving today, maybe she's dropped a bit more and walking with a head between my legs is having an impact?
Also,
mr_bassman has succeeded in giving me his respiratory disease and I'm busy coughing and having minor distress breathing. It will be better to get over this before Rosie is born. Unfortunately, I won't be visiting
splodgenoodles this week, like I'd planned.
If Rosie doesn't appear, and I'm not planning for her, I can spend my energy doing those last minute things I haven't done - rearranging furniture so we can put a bassinette in our room (must get it into our house/pick it up too), getting the capsule from the hire place, finishing the laundry...?
