Nocturnal bear
Apr. 5th, 2009 06:17 amI got up at 4am, unable to sleep for worrying that my children will be cold at Festival.
I sewed two linen shirts for Sneetch - I didn't want to do any cutting in my still slightly inebriated state, and they were ready to go.
When I finished those, I opened my computer to catch up with the state of the world.
It turns out that I actually got up at 3am and it's now only 6.15am.
Do I power through and have a substantial nap this afternoon, or do I get my feet warm enough to go and sleep for 2 hours?
I still haven't packed my clothes. They have to be in the truck at 11.30am, but I can't pack them until Rose gets up.
I think it's a good thing I got up - I've been drinking water the whole time and now I won't have a hangover to deal with.
ETA: It's now 7.40am, I've been awake for 30 min feeding Rose in bed and the cold has defeated me. I feel more rested, 'cos the clock in the bedroom hasn't been adjusted and my first impression when I woke for Rose was that I'd slept for 2 hours. Oh well, up and at 'em.
