mrsbrownHad my first day at my new job yesterday, it wasn't bad. My first task seems to be writing a report about a new sustainablility centre - I feel like I've been thrown in at the deep end.
Yesterday would have been better without the stomach cramps. They started on Sunday, woke me a couple of times during the night and have gently petered down since then. I went to the doctor on Monday night and I wo't forget the expression on her face as she poked my stomach. We had a "you know what I'm thinking?" conversation and laughed before talking about what to do if it really was appendicitis. The instructions were a lot like childbirth - go home and wait for the pain to get worse, but it didn't.
Oh well, off to do it again...work that is, not appendicitis.
