T made pizza today. What a great school holiday project! She made dough this morning when she got up and then when I got home we cut up stuff and put it all together. Next time, we'll just make 2 pizzas and make the rest of the dough and fillings into calzone for lunches the next day.
I added the Ulysses at a page a day feed to my friends page and now I have to read the first twenty pages to catch up. I'm feeling a bit tired though, I might do it tomorrow.
I looked into making a new LJ feed from this site's feed so I could just start at page 1 today, but I would need to be a paid account holder, so I'm stuck with the read-back-20-pages option. Could someone do it for me? No biggy if you can't.
Finished the big project at work yesterday, so now I feel like I'm twiddling my thumbs until more work comes in. I think I might go up to the business development dude and ask him if I could ring anyone, or write any submissions - it would be something to do, and good stuff to put on a resume.
I had a thought the other day - maybe I should cold canvas a contracting company for a new job. Engineers get paid more in that business and I would learn HEAPS about designing for the real world. It's been on my list for a while, and I can't go o/s for work until those children are finished high school anyway. A couple of years of experience with a contractor would make me very employable. I'll put it on my list of things to think about.
Now to go muck about with the tuner card - I'm really interested in the time shifting software.
