I put in a bid on the auction of the land in my street.

I only said, "$200,000" and then I decided to wait until it went up in $1000 rises. It stopped at $232,5000 and I thought, very seriously, about putting in another bid then, but the auctioneer said "third and final call" too quickly and I missed the opportunity.

It's OK, I probably can't afford it anyway, and I haven't discussed it properly with any potential co-investors.

Yes, I'm thick, and idealistic, but I got it the third time you were adament at me.

I will still probably break out ocasionaly and impose my wishful thinking on you - but it is your choice and it will always be your choice.
