Lovely time at the party I went to last night (see erudito's journal for details :) ) but I may have drunk too much champagne. We almost had to stop on the way home, and my head hurts a little.

Went to town yesterday to buy that pda. I was pushed over the edge on Friday, when I worked out that G had stolen my ebookman (pda) so he could read books at M's place. Obviously, I needed to replace my existing pda with a whizz-bang one. Bummer, it's not reduced anymore and the extra $50 is enough to make me stop wanting it so badly.

I have asked for and received acceptance to begin working a 9 day fortnight this week. Now I just have to organise to be at work by 8am (it's been 9am lately, prompting a comment about my punctuality at my appraisal). I'm going to go back to the alarm clock and no reading matter before work rule I used to have. That way, I'll get up at about 7am and leave home about 30min later. The only other thing I need to organise is to have clothes I like wearing so I don't waste 10min valuable getting ready time in deciding what to wear.

Now I'm off to read some more LJ
