We'll be in Richmond again this evening and leave tomorrow, at about midday, all going well.

If I'd said, "I'll have that one" , or "that one" on Saturday, I'd be able to pick it up tomorrow.

Yes, but then you'd be heading off on a long trip in a secondhand car you don't know. I'm not saying this isn't a total fuck-up, but doing that would have been taking a hell of a risk anyway.

Don't beat yourself up, it was not a sensible alternative.

Also *sigh*. I have finished one assignment but not yet the other. And the new futon lady tried to back out of Wed morning also, and has grudgingly allowed that I can pick it up at noon. If it's finished.
