Speculating wildly, as usual, I see two uprights held by guy ropes and, a crossbeam. I see lots of loose canvas which does not appear to have a lot of tension on it. I see bell(ish) ends and - something I have been looking for - a raised 'door' panel in the central, rectangular roof piece.
I've been uncomfortable with the raised door panel idea because in a fully guyed tent, the canvas is what holds the tent up, and the strain on the seam between the bell ends and the rebated door panel would be a weak point.
However... and this is the iffy bit... when I look at the tents in this footage, I see the 'tent skin' as not being structural. I believe it's possible that the timbers and guys have been set up and the 'skin' of fabric fastened over the top of it all. This would account for the saggy appearance of the canvas, the existence of the door way and the necessity for a ridge pole.
Or perhaps I should not sample this cointreau fudge so early in the day?
