Here is a very interesting bunch of photos about the storm everyone is talking about (everyone in Melbourne that is) - http://www.theage.com.au/photogallery/2004/10/28/1107228805235.html

We woke up to no electricity and found out as we all went to school and work that a gum tree had dropped a branch on the powerlines in Lennox St. The tree seems fine, the branch it dropped was at least 30cm in diameter - just the sort of thing to die under if you camp in the wrong place.

My computer mouse has stopped working, it has power (the red light on the bottom is working) but it doesn't move, despite checking all leads AND restarting the computer, twice.

But that hasn't stopped me from reading all of my flist, including peoples comments and interesting links. I think I have pressed about a hundred times and I have learnt the keyboard shortcut for =go back a page=.

I'm now contemplating a few rounds of weboggle -without a mouse, after I work out what the address is (without a mouse).

Hmmm, J has developed a slightly annoying habit lately after a discussion we had regarding the Round the Twist episode where one of the kids is cursed and has to finish every sentence with, "without my pants." J has started saying it everytime one of the boys, particularly G, says, "pants." Would it be more amusing if he said, "without my mouse" instead?
