and thanks vassalissa for the link to a rant about gender and sexism. I've sent it off to my 17 year old son, who sometimes echoes his Dad a little too much. Perhaps, put like that, he'll rethink some of the things he says he believes in. Here's hoping.

Rose news;

I think I'm getting the hang of her. She slept most of the night last night - I think I fed her once and we didn't have the up and down and cry between 12 mid and 2am routine we've had for the past week. I think its because I dragged her in and out of the car about 10 times yesterday afternoon, gave her a bath at 8.30pm (in the new laundry trough!) and learnt that she regularly wriggles, vocalises and cries in her sleep and will fall back into a deep sleep if I just leave her alone.

I had another look at the birth pictures yesterday. She's already changed!
