I ate too much, the family room is covered in chocolate wrappers and I'm lying on the couch using the newly wireless laptop while pretending to watch "The Party" with the rest of the fam.

We've all been idylically hanging around and being nice to each other - it's cool.

[livejournal.com profile] sjkasabi gave Rose a set of the  letters in her name for christmas and T is playing with possible anagrams.  [livejournal.com profile] mr_bassman just observed the anagram "Eros"  hmmm, cute.

I don't feel very well, it must be time for more chocolate.

A list of the loot - the highlights

Rose got lots of clothes and another stuffed toy (hint: don't buy stuffed toys for children - It's ok to make them, but mostly they just clutter up the place)

My mother decided that the blue wires criss-crossing my family room needed tidying, so she did what any gadget freak does...and provided us with all the equipment required for a wireless network

The gadget freaky-ness also stood her in good stead when she bought mp3 players and a phone for my (older) children.

The pair of pancake tossing style fry pans were very useful this morning for the berry and pancake- with maple syrup, icecream and cream- breakfast. For 5 people we used 3 punnets of strawberries and 2 each of blueberries and blackberries!!! That's seven punnets of fruit!!

I was proud of the orange and yellow tie-died with multicoloured dragonflies sarong I made for G. He will look great when he wears it at his venturer camp.

We may not see T for the rest of the holidays - she got a computer that is able to run Sims 2 (luckily her brother/father had a copy, that they got from...somewhere)

Luckily my children were given a lot of chocolate - it came in very useful this afternoon when I needed a chocolate/sugar fix.

We've only had two meals today(not including the chocolate fest) - the pancake extravaganza and the roast lamb with trimmings. It is my tradition that the evening meal be plum pudding with custard/icecream/cream, but I found out tonight that my children don't like plum pudding :( , so we haven't eaten anything tonight.
