This is a fabbo 18th C reenactor site - now I know what to do with that white wool for $12/m.

I've just tried out a triangle of wool as a nappy cover/pilcher/soaker. I like it. I can get a good, tight fit, it's really simple and it will be easier than a whole nappy to put a pin through. They are also cheap and quick to make.
I'll buy some lanolin tomorrow and make them more waterproof.
Now I really should choose the fabric for the dress I want to be so perfect that I'm procrastinating cutting it out.
