Yesterday, at about 8.30pm. We left for Festival on time, and with everything we needed.

Yesterday, about 9.00pm, the car radiator manifested it's leak in an obvious manner and we stopped the car in the carpark of Reservoir station and called [livejournal.com profile] sacred_chao for help.

Yesterday, at about 10.30pm, we left the home of [livejournal.com profile] sacred_chao and [livejournal.com profile] doushkasmum, in their car, and drove home.

This morning I'm mentally writing lists of all the things I wanted to do yesterday and crossed off so we could leave on time.

But first, I'm finding a radiator place to fix my car.

The car radiator is fixed.

We're home to pick up children.

Unfortunately, I don't know why, [livejournal.com profile] mr_bassman decided to check the car tyres. He found one with a nail and a hole in it, so he's off getting that fixed. Then we just have to drive to Reservoir to find out why there is coolant dripping from the engine, pick up the trailer, and leave.

If I could just go to a car yard, point at a Volkswagon Caravelle and say, "I'll have that one" and drive away right now, I would.

Rose is ready for her nap, but I'm holding out until we get in the car. On the other hand, we'll be stopping for a while in Reservoir, so maybe a nap now would be a good thing. I could handle one.

That coolant dripping problem? The water pump.

We'll be in Richmond again this evening and leave tomorrow, at about midday, all going well.

If I'd said, "I'll have that one" , or "that one" on Saturday, I'd be able to pick it up tomorrow.
