Nov. 22nd, 2007 11:10 pmFeeling a bit gloomy this week, which is not surprising - my boss died on Sunday night.
He had a brain tumour and it was expected, but not so soon. Work's really weird and was particularly weird on Monday when we found out. And the funeral tomorrow will be a whole new level of weird.
I find it interesting that each time you are confronted with death, you remember all those other people you grieve for. So I've sighed a lot this week.
Tonight I finally got around to playing with my latest renovation idea. First I had to download (illegally) a copy of the drafting package. Then I installed it. Then I worked out how to use it in French :). After that I could finally put it into the modelling software I use at work and play with the shadows the new buildings will cause in my backyard and work out where/how large to make the windows for the amount of light I want.
