My first Tuesday at home
Mar. 17th, 2009 09:44 amI've just been playin with a climate analysis tool I found while messin around online yesterday at work. It was for work!!!
Anyway, interesting factoid about the weather at Peats Ridge last year:
The rain we experienced in March was half the long term mean rainfall. It rained for half the days we were there - does that mean it's likely to rain the whole time?
Today I'm going to make phone calls and organise stuff.
Then I'm going to cut out and make more Festy clothing for everyone but me.

Date: 2009-03-17 11:34 am (UTC)2)Could you please ask Tam if she still wants the camp stretcher and is willing enough to bribe you enough to transport it home to her from a dance practise (not this week) or similar (but twilight tourney!).

Date: 2009-03-17 01:28 pm (UTC)Oh, tavern night is *this* saturday? I guess I'd better decide tommorow if I will be over the (rotten lurking persistant, draining but not actually very sick making as far as colds go) cold enough or still need to get the extra sleep.
As Tam knows, but probably not Sneetch, the camp stretcher needs new canvas. There's torn up hessian as canvas still attached to it that a pattern should be able to be cut from fairly easily. The wooden bits are still all in good order. I've a similar one that can be viewed for comparison purposes if needed. It's a c1950's era one I think, the use of springs makes it not look medieval, but it does get you up off the ground about 15cm and is somewhat comfy or very comfy with a thermorest (or probably with a foam mat or straw matress).
