left-handedness

I've stopped using my right arm. Right elbow to be precise.

I left work early to "work at home' partly because the elbow hurts and partly because I am a procrastinator. At home I watched tele and slept on the couch. I'm going to get the work done in bite sized chunks over the weekend and rest the elbow.

I've been wandering the house looking for tasks I can do with one hand. mr_bassman says that I could clean the clothes off the floor in my room, or clean the kitchen. I would rather build that web server, but we have to play hard disk cascade and the disk I need is in G's machine which is burning a cd and will be for hours. I'll probably watch more tv.

In sad news; I'm drinking the cider Drake gave me and it's too beery - I don't like it, but Ihink it was ok when it was warm. I'll try it again warm.

Eep! No good. Is it the same elbow that gave you trouble before in pump?

And yes, the post-Festival crash is dreary, isn't it?

Drake beverage

You know, your experience reminds me of a feast that NKJ and Mr C went to. Drake offered them both beverages from his box-o-beer. In that box happened to be a bottle of Bombay Saffire. Mr C and NKJ stole the bottle of Bombay Saffire. Drake was not happy, but agreed to them having some since it was in the box and he had offered on the proviso that this dastardly duo leave him some. They dutifully drank plenty of the Gin and poured Drake a G&T too. Drake went off to offer his beer around. Baron Stephen fortuitously arrived at this juncture drinking Drake's beer. Liking it not, helped himself to Drake's G&T and replaced it with Drake's beery beverage, giggled and drank heartily of the G&T. Drake returned, took a swig from his cup and spat it back stating "what is this rubbish" NKJ and Mr C unkindly informed him that it was his own formidable drink.

I think that story has something in it for everyone really!
