mrsbrownWot I have done in the past two hours - only the online-y stuff;
I've moved my sourdough starter to this phase - http://www.io.com/~sjohn/sour.htm It's making me think that we should change our approach to bread at Festival. When we use up a large sponge to make bread we should make the next days sponge at the same time. Then bread making becomes; mix and knead bread dough/ make sponge for next day, knock down and shape, cook, repeat the next day. Removing one of the steps will make it easier fto do each day.
I need to keep track of this page too - http://sourdough.com/forum/recipes. This recipe looks particularly good - http://sourdough.com/forum/topic/120. Although I also like the idea of chappatti - http://sourdough.com/forum/sourdough-chapatis-using-starter-toss-out
I also noted this change to regulations about cutting trees around the house. It might change some of the equations about buying land.
I got my tax refund yesterday. Now to work out what to spend it on. Credit card reduction? New car seat for Rose? New stove?
Now, because we're shaped (with no reprieve for 6 days, unless I crack and upgrade), I'm going to design my house.
