This is another angst ridden post about my overwhelming amount of stuff and things to do. It's all about how depressed I've been lately and how I feel completely powerless to do anything about it. But this time, you don't have to shout at the computer with no hope of me ever hearing the completely obvious thing I've missed.

Now that I've worked out about polls, you may be spammed for a while.

I find that routine jobs that recur every few days are really unfulfilling, so I try to "do something that stays done" to give a sense of actually getting somewhere, making progress, improving things.

Gardening stays done for a while, do that in daylight. Sort even a little bit of your fabric stash once it is dark. I find that kitchens respond fairly well to even a little bit of tidying. And yeah... my bathroom is scary. I should clean it so I stop stressing about it.

Today I'll bribe cajole or browbeat my children into helping beat the mess back a fair bit. Tomorrow I hope to do three things that will stay done for a while; clear some space in the garage, do some gardening and ...do something with my fabric and craft supplies.

I probably should work on three outstanding uni assignments, too. But who needs sleep, really?

I think if you're looking for a psychological boost, you should start with the hallway. If as soon as you step in the door you feel overwhelmed, then you're putting yourself at a disadvantage in dealing with the rest of the place.
