It is with relief that I report I am alone.

I have my CV done, I have spoken to the recruitment agency and the last of my referees. I have applied for a job through another agency and should chase them up today.

Today I'm in the wavering stage. I'm home and therefore should step into that role of homemaker. I should clean up my room, and the kitchen. I should finish rearranging furniture so that G gets his own room. I should fix the leaking laundry roof so I have a moisture free environment for the termite person to com and spray chemicals on. I should make the built in cupboards in the boy's room and I should finish that box for [livejournal.com profile] sjkasabi, probably the trestle tables for the Barony too. I'm not going to start on the things I should do for the workshop on Sunday.

On the other hand, I would like to lie down on the couch until I'm bored.

Hmmm, to do that I have to load the next book in the series onto my pda. And to do that I have to get the pda to talk to linux, or reboot into windows. I think I'll play with linux for a while.

Yes but someone has to build the cannon.

Ahh, falling into the nothing-in-particular-to-do trap. It's all the worse when there are several particular things which you COULD do, but none of them assert themselves as a priority. I often wind up surfing aimlessly and then get angry with myself. I got some stuff done today though.
