I guess this is how it's meant to be

I have a kitten in my lap as I type and a dog at my feet. They seem to be in tolerating each other stage, although Max spits when Binka gets within about twenty centimetres.

To get out of the kitchen this morning Max was almost forced to walk under Binka's legs, until he realised where the dog was and skittered away.

Last night, he slept on the bed while we watched a movie. We put him to bed in the laundry though - I don't trust him in the house alone.

Max is sneezing, snotting and eye watering, so I'm going to ring the Lort Smith this morning.

For the rest of the weekend...

I'd like to be involved in Salami making if I'm needed.
I need to redesign the cutting layout for the soldiers tents, then cut out and sew them.
I'd like to waterproof them too.
I want to be able to leave the back door open when Max is in the family room - I might head out and get a quote to get the back door replaced with french doors, including a fly screen.
I need to schedule a time before the end of January when I can work with tenbears on re-lining his shower and outside back wall.
At a MUCH more mundane level, I also need to re-find my family room. I don't know what happened, I only cleaned it up on December 24 and now it's a disaster again!

In the absence of any firm tent wrangling plans, and because it fell through yesterday arvo, I am off to slap another coat of paint on the wall of the gallery. Hoping to get it done in 3-4 hours.

That leaves rest of weekend more or less free for any group activities for which the materials are already gathered.
