My first Movie Review on LJ by Mrsbrown

We saw Star Wars last night. It was the crappiest movie I have ever paid money to see. I was relieved when it was over.

The mysterious increasing and decreasing pregnancy bump got in my way a lot of the time and the delivery of the LARGE twins from under the metal skirt thing (with accompanying pretend delivery contortions from Padme) was completely unbelievable. Particularly when the doctor droid had just said he needed to operate to get them out! Oh yeah, with twins that big we should have seen the bottom of the bump when she ran (and she wouldn't be able to run) to Anekin while wearing that skimpyminidress thing on Mustepha.

I know I should have been looking at the special effects, but the really bad acting and stupid story line also got in the way.

I don't personally give a toss, but tenbears has started getting antsy. He's really looking forward to it.

Oh thank goodness, somebody has said something bad about the movie.

I was getting sick of the 'oh! it's the best movie ever!' vibe that's been going around most of my geeky circles.

We know how it all ends; with teddy bears dancing in a forest. Anything that happens before is just buildup to the grand ewok finale.

I would like to say starwars episode 3 was better than episode 2, but hardly comparable to episodes 3-6. Padame can't act. Obi-won makes to many tacky comments that are SUPPOSED to be funny but are just stupid. And why they even bothered to give c3p0 any lines is beyond me- actually it isn't, they were trying to make the movie consistant, but it just irritated me. R2D2 had way to many cool abilities, and the ending was tacky (but I admitt after I saw it i wanted to go home and watch the other episodes):)
