mrsbrownI'm waiting for my children to finish getting themselves ready for my mother's 60th birthday party. I had some minor panic and flashbacks to MTB, when Z was still in bed and grumpy at me at 6pm, but he seems to have gotten moving now.
Interestingly, my younger children don't own party clothes. Of course, I only realised this afternoon, too late to do anything about it, so they're going to the party in jeans and t-shirts, possibly the same ones they've been wearing for a week. I'm a bad mother.

splodgenoodles' posts about how grumpy she is. I have felt the same way for most of the day. mr_bassman and I have been sniping at each other all day. I think I'm in overwhelmed panic mode with respect to how much stuff is in my house and how much baby stuff we still have to fit in AND the renovation/nesting I want done in the next 7 weeks.
I started programming the renovation stuff and realised that;
1. There is too much stuff to be able to magic square the laundry and kitchen empty enough to do any work in.
2. Being pregnant means I can't just do it myself instead of waiting for other people.
3. There is too much on in the next 2 weeks to realistically expect to get anywhere on the process.
BTW you should buy tickets for Showtime. Please mention my kids names when you book. It's about zombies
