There is no exciting news.

G wants me to avoid having a baby until Monday afternoon, after his exam. This will give him enough time and inclination to actually study for the exam.

If Rosie doesn't turn up earlier, I will be going into hospital on Monday to have my waters broken at about 11ish. I then have 4 hours to go into spontaneous labour, if that doesn't work then I get transferred out of the birth centre and hooked up to a hormone drip to induce contractions. Then, all going well, Rosie will arrive sometime later.

G will do his exam and then get transported to the hospital to be part of the excitement. As long as Rosie arrives sometime after 2pm, he will be there. That seems OK, so I've decided to just relax and let nature take its course, I may go into labour earlier, but it's no big deal if I don't.

We did the monitoring thing again today - she's fine. Of course, my chest cold is worse and I'm having a lot of trouble breathing, particularly at night. I'm not particularly keen on labouring without my full lung capacity, so the later labour happens, the better really.

Funnily enough, I've read before that they almost never see women with colds or flu in the labour ward. I think the body knows better to try to go through that while under capacity....
