I finally qualified to do this, thanks to [livejournal.com profile] doushkasmum and [livejournal.com profile] splodgenoodles

If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, even if we don't speak often, please post a comment with a memory of you and me. It can be anything you want, either good or bad.

When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people remember about you.

One of your children was blowing into a recorder at festival while very young (can't remember which one). Very loudly and not making anything tuneful. I seem to remember suggesting taping up some of the holes to make it play a B flat or something, you either thought that was funny or offensive or something, I never figured out what. It was supposed to be funny. I thought if we could get a few of them together blowing into recorders with holes taped into some nice sounding chord or something it would be amusing to hear the results.

The mouse incident.

Roaming the streets of Carlton at night.

There are other more poignant ones but this forum is too public.

Ages ago, I cant remember exactly when, I was whinging about being all stifled etc, I think I was pregnant and it was around festival time. You said some lovely things that made me feel like I was wanted as part of a whole. Made me feel good.

more than one.

Watching you and the noodles make car noises and hold pretend steeering wheels before crashing into each other, after being told to drive carefully when you were about to walk home.

The time (after you had just done The Forum) when you announced that you had realised why we didn't get along.

The slow realisation that I prefered your company to that of MTB who had been my best friend for most of my young adulthood.

The sound of your laughter.
