Hooray!

I've just booked our flights to Sydney.

We're on Qantas and arrive in Sydney at 9.50pm on Friday night (leaving at 8.30pm). We leave Sydney on Sunday at 4.30pm and arrive home in time to have dinner at Dad's and go home to bed.

Now I get to worry about what MsNotaGoth's going to wear (maybe we could borrow something...) and angst about the fact that I know I don't have time to make something but would like to anyway.

Other people talked about coming along too, but if they don't move it they won't be able to afford the fare. (Thanks Mum, $240 for four of us, for the weekend, is fantastic!)

Just for the record, these will be Rose's 13th and 14th flights (I think) and by the time she's two she'll have flown 16 times. What is the world coming to? Oh yeah; death and destruction from climate change.

Let me know if you need accommodation. I'll be away for the weekend (leaving Sat am) and I'm sure I could loan you my room and the fold out couch if you don't have any better offers.

Sorry I haven't replied earlier, I've been waiting to talk to folks as they firm up their plans too. We talked about sharing cars/accomodation/organisation etc, but haven't worked it all out yet.

There are 4 of us coming, arriving latish at night, with assorted baby crap and I'm wondering if we might be better to stay somewhere near the airport and the event.

So, I'll get back to you sometime this weekend, with an answer.

Isn't it lovely to be so popular and loved that you're spoiled for choice? I have of course realised that my current house isn't particularly toddler proof/safe so will not be offended if you take up Del's offer or make other arrangements.

No, lurextoga is flying at 8pm friday and returns late on Sunday night.

I couldn't get the same flight as you guys on Friday and I wanted to be home earlier on Sunday.

We can't even travel to the airport together because my family's too big.
