I can't only blame the change in weather for my consistant lateness to work.

And it's not because I'm now my own boss, with only peer pressure to get me out of bed.

No, it's because I don't know what to wear.

I can't find my black thermal top, I don't think I can buy another one from Target now - everybody else has already bought them, so I can't just keep wearing my summer clothes with a chic black thermal top under them.

The fabulous black suit I bought under [livejournal.com profile] sjkasabi's tutelage now nearly has shiny bottom, but it's ok, because the second pair of suit trousers I bought on sale about 3 weeks after the suit, is languishing at the bottom of my mending pile becuase the zip broke when I was pregnant. I just have to fix the zip and I have a suit again. Except they're a bit big and really need altering too.

Is it wrong to only wear one pair of trousers to work, day in day out? That's what the men I work with do.

I need to have that sewing weekend we talked about a while ago and use up the fabric I have bought in the last two years to make work clothes.

Because reviving my wardrobe is only the work of a weekend!

Reviving your wardrobe will require the investment of either time or money. I also want to have a sewing weekend, to help my work wardrobe. But I stand by my comment that we need a sewing week! Pity we don't have a spare week lying around. I am happy to go shopping with you.

Sewing on Sat or Sun?

I need to do some work on my assignment that is due on Wednesday next. Lets sew on Saturday. (I may also get you to be a guinny pig for my assignment. I need to assess the user interface on a digital camera, so I need someone who hasn't used mine as a comparison. It shouldn't take very long)

Er. I will probably come and type up a lit survey at you and mournfully watch you doing fun sewing stuff.

I'd love to sew too. hopefully also doing rubble clearing with mrbassman. Can probably do some of both. It would be great to get these *$*&%$ trousers finished! Then I can do other stuff (even though I am partway through this sideless, cut after said trousers were part finished). Now I am wondering if I have tops to go with these troosers.
