I've been awake since 5, I'm ready for work and should probably head there soon as I'm leaving early to be a fangirl at a Wiggles concert.

Today I'm wearing one of the tops I bought in the US.  I loved that shop and I think I could shop there more often, but they only have shops in North America and London.  Maybe I could start a franchise here?  That would be a way to cheap-ish clothes...

Yesterday's thought of the day was, "I like wearing and buying clothes, but I hate going into shop after shop where their largest size is one size too small for me".

The nice thing about shopping in the US was that most shops had clothes my size.  I wonder if there's a guide around for places to source clothes that fit middle-aged women?  But not the frumpy, layered, oversized sack like clothes.  If not, there should be...

I can't only blame the change in weather for my consistant lateness to work.

And it's not because I'm now my own boss, with only peer pressure to get me out of bed.

No, it's because I don't know what to wear.

I can't find my black thermal top, I don't think I can buy another one from Target now - everybody else has already bought them, so I can't just keep wearing my summer clothes with a chic black thermal top under them.

The fabulous black suit I bought under [livejournal.com profile] sjkasabi's tutelage now nearly has shiny bottom, but it's ok, because the second pair of suit trousers I bought on sale about 3 weeks after the suit, is languishing at the bottom of my mending pile becuase the zip broke when I was pregnant. I just have to fix the zip and I have a suit again. Except they're a bit big and really need altering too.

Is it wrong to only wear one pair of trousers to work, day in day out? That's what the men I work with do.

I need to have that sewing weekend we talked about a while ago and use up the fabric I have bought in the last two years to make work clothes.

Because reviving my wardrobe is only the work of a weekend!
